Atlas stands for "Agent Tracking and Location Service". It is SeMoA's mechanism of keeping track of where agents are.

Atlas was designed to be scalable in a global (Internet-wide) scope, and preserve the privacy of agent owners as much as possible. More information on Atlas will appear here soon. For the time being, please refer to the publication "Scalable and Secure Global Name Services for Mobile Agents".
